DaBaby Plans On Retiring In 2025
DaBaby is about to leverage on his career.
The 29-year-old rapper plans to retire from rapping to run his record label Billion Dollar Baby Entertainment in the next five years.
DaBaby has achieved great success with his successful albums ‘Kirk’ and ‘Blame It On Baby’. The Grammy-nominated rapper is already making big plans. Speaking with XXL, DaBaby revealed that he plans to retire from rapping by 2025. He said, “Five years, imma be retired in five years. I won’t be rapping in five years, I’ll be creating other superstars.”
DaBaby founded Billion Dollar Baby Ent. in January 2019. The label currently has five artists under its belt including KayyKilo, Wison, Rich Dunk, DJ K.i.D, and Stunna 4 Vegas. Baby has said that Billion Dollar Baby Entertainment is “definitely gonna be like one of the hottest labels in the game” in five years.
The ‘Rockstar’ rapper has dreams of having his own biopic. He said,
“A biopic. That’s what Gotta do first. I’ll do a biopic first then I’ll do other movies,” DaBaby said. “I’ve already been sent scripts. Yeah, I would fo’sho,” he said in reference to playing himself. “From a younger age, then all the way up until the present time. I’ll take it there. I gotta crazy story. My story’s crazy and it keeps getting crazier. I seen it all. That’s gonna be a good one.”
DaBaby is up for Record of the Year, Best Melodic Rap Performance, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance at next year’s Grammy awards. This year alone, his hit single “Rockstar” topped the Billboard charts
