WhatsApp Web Updates To Have Voice And Video Calling Features
WhatsApp is reported to be developing new icons and features for the WhatsApp Web version.
The new WhatsApp web features being developed include, video calls and voice calls as well as a new loading screen.
According to reports by Wabetainfo, WhatsApp is now developing voice and video calls button on the web version of the application.
These latest developments mean that WhatsApp web will soon have a video calling feature, users can also make calls using Whatsapp web, instead of just using their phones.
The new features are currently undergoing the testing phase, before being availed to users.

Calls, New icons and the redesigned loading screen are not available yet.
WhatsApp is still working on these features to ensure the best bug-free experience for you.
Seeing that these features are under development, they’re not available yet in your WhatsApp Web and Desktop update.
Wabetainfo also said that WhatsApp is developing a new loading screen for the web version.
The new loading screen will be part of the new feature allowing the use of the same WhatsApp account on multiple devices.
The update is not available yet to users but the good news is that it will have an end to end encryption, making it secure for users.
Currently, you can not make video or voice calls directly on Whatsapp web version , so that would be a welcome addition.
WhatsApp web currently works in tandem with your phone, with most of the features available, but with a limited access to calls and video calls among others.
The main worry was that the upcoming features which will allow the use of one WhatsApp account independently, on several devices, will pose a security risk but it seems the developers are have found a way to keep the end to end encryption security feature intact.
